Designing my Toy !

This week i've been trying to decide what toy im going to make for Carolines' assignment. I have a few ideas that i have come up with :) I have also drawn a few examples and written descriptions of each one, talking about what each bit would be made from. From this i have roughly figured out how much each one would cost to make, and which would be the best to make. After figuring that out, i decided on a toy. I looked around for the materials to see where they are the cheapest. I'm buying most of the materials from Range and the rest from Hobbycraft. :) I'm going to start it over the christmas holidays.

Work Placement :)

Last week i went home to do work placement in Ty Gwyn School in Cardiff. Most of the children there have profound or multiple learning difficulties. I was working mainly with children betweent the ages of 3 and 5. As it is almost christmas, we spent most of the week preparing for the christmas play. We spent most of the rest of the time making christmas decorations and calenders and stuff.

At the end of the week, one of the teaching assistants who moved here from Jamaica a few years ago, brought in some home made Jamaican food. We had a Jamaican styled party, and we made hats and decoratin in the colour of the Jamaican flag. The food was amazing! :)
